I\u2019ve been there and loved it so much.<\/p>\n<p>Chilling, meeting nice people and dancing a bit to the beats, what a perfect day. The DJs are very cool, there are 4-5 different ones each Sunday. \u00a0It\u2019s hard to define the kind of music they play, so you better listen to some tracks on the <a href=\\\"http:\/\/piknicelectronik.es\/en\/\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener\\\">official website<\/a>, just to make an idea.<\/p>\n<p>The funny, surprising thing about <strong>Piknic Electronik<\/strong> is to see many young families with their kids. \u00a0Maybe sitting next to a multi-tattooed dude holding a big joint!<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere is very relaxed and peaceful. It\\&#8217;s like a small Woodstock, this cool\u00a0<strong>picnic in Barcelona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\\\"http:\/\/suitelife.com\/s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/share_montreal.jpg\\\"><img class=\\\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8541\\\" src=\\\"http:\/\/suitelife.com\/s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/share_montreal.jpg\\\" alt=\\\"Piknic Electronik\\\" width=\\\"3600\\\" height=\\\"1879\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>WHEN?<\/h1>\n<p>Every Sunday till (the end of September), 1-10pm.\u00a0Why doesn\u2019t it go on till late night? Cause your legs won\u2019t be able to to take you home! Be sure that around midnight you\u2019ll be sleeping like a baby.<\/p>\n<h1>WHERE?<\/h1>\n<p>Parc del Montjuic (<a href=\\\"https:\/\/maps.google.es\/maps?q=Parc+de+Montju%C3%AFc,+Barcellona&amp;hl=it&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;sll=41.367598,2.167439&amp;sspn=0.017811,0.042272&amp;oq=PARC+DE+&amp;hnear=Parc+de+Montju%C3%AFc,+Barcellona,+Catalogna&amp;t=m&amp;z=14\\\">see on the map<\/a>). \u00a0We took the funicular at Poble Sec Metro station, it was 3pm and the station was quiet, with no queues. The service works pretty well, in a couple of minutes it takes you to the park.<\/p>\n<p><img class=\\\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-37607\\\" src=\\\"https:\/\/suitelife.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/Mapa_ENG.jpg\\\" alt=\\\"piknic electronik barcelona\\\" width=\\\"533\\\" height=\\\"696\\\" \/><\/p>\n<h1>WHAT TO BRING<\/h1>\n<p>1 Water. Yes, bad boys don\u2019t drink water. Well, when it\u2019s 35\u00b0C you need that, come on.<\/p>\n<p>2 Food. Inside it\u2019s expensive, and there\u2019s just pizza and hotdogs. You\u2019re allowed to bring your own food (in general the only thing you can\u2019t take inside is alcohol), so why not?<\/p>\n<p>3 Sunglasses, shorts and the smallest bag you have.<\/p>\n<h1>WHAT CAN YOU BUY THERE<\/h1>\n<p>Beers \u00a0for 3 euros, drinks and cocktails around 5 euros . It\u2019s not possible to pay cash, you need to buy tokens. Yes, it\u2019s pretty annoying, \u00a0cause you have to queue for the tokens AND then for the drink.<\/p>\n<p>Note that you have to pay for your cool, \u00a0branded glass (1 token) but you can convert it into 1 euro! And the more glasses you give back the more you earn!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\\\"http:\/\/suitelife.com\/s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/PiknicElectronicoMERCADO13.jpg\\\"><img class=\\\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8542\\\" src=\\\"http:\/\/suitelife.com\/s\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/PiknicElectronicoMERCADO13.jpg\\\" alt=\\\"Piknic Electronik\\\" width=\\\"960\\\" height=\\\"640\\\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>AFTER PARTY<\/h1>\n<p>Although feeling really tired, my friend and I decided to walk down the hill of <a href=\\\"http:\/\/suitelife.com\/2011\/01\/12\/montjuic-barcelona-museu-nacional-dart-de-catalunya-mnac\/\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\" rel=\\\"noopener\\\">Montjuic<\/a>. This is &#8211; in my opinion &#8211; the best idea, especially if you wanna stay at the picnic until the closing time.<\/p>\n<p>We just preferred to avoid the queue to the funicular (as you can imagine, there is a lot of people waiting), and had a 10\/15 min. walk to get back to Poble Sec. Which is a good area to go for tapas in Barcelona at a very convenient price.
